SUIT CASE MYSTERY
SCOTLAND YARD QUIET. (United Press Association—By ElectricTelegraph.—Copyright.)' (Received this dav at 11 n.mA LONDON, Nov. 12. Scotland Yard is preserving a stolid silence on the suit case mystery, not replying, and will make no statement till the investigation is completed. It is ascertained that Airs Prescott vi-ited Britain with the object of a Chancery litigation declaring someone was endeavouring to defeat her claim. She instructed a solicitor to contest the case. People in whom she confided her plans are of the opinion that worry seriously upset her. It is gathered that the best- brains of Scotland Yard have hitherto been unable to decide whether the clmrre.l hones are in association with a recent murder. Tt is significant that the Chief .Inspector having exhausted inquiries at Yorkhill is concentrating on London with a view to deciding the ownership of the suit case and articles therein.
