NOMINATION OF GOY'KRNOR-

It was announced by Australian Labour Party officers that a motion would he submitted at a meeting of the Federal Parliamentary Labour Party at Canberra to-day, for the appointment of an Australian to the position oi Governor-General in succession to Lord Stonehaven. Members supporting the proposal consider tiie Chief Justice, Sir Adrian Knox, should be invited to accept.
