(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.; WELLINGTON. November 11. The Dominion Council of X.Z. Lawn Tennis Association met to-night and approved a loan of CSOO to Wellington Association for the purpose of providing a grandstand on the Association s court lit Miramar. The Canterbury delegates were the only opponents to the proposal. The Chairman oif the Council (Mr A. Cl. Henderson) staled that the constitution had been amended to enable the parent body to lend trust moneys with or without security. A presentation of a silver entree dish was made to Mr \\ . J. melody in recognition of his service to tennis.
