N6'fieiii"fiV : lo:-; : The “Daily Telegraph” states the authorities at Aintree are considering reducing the entries for the Grand National to reasonable proportions,' by confining the race to five-year-olds and upwards, which have been placed in a steeplechase of three miles or ifpwards worth £230, or have been placed in any steeplechase at Aintree or have 1 won a steeplechase anywhere worth £SOO. It is pointed out that the remarkable increase of entries in recent years is diie to the huge prize money. Owners in the past two years have received £12,550 and £12,925 respectively.
