During a discussion in the AYestralian Parliament upon the Prime Minister’s sugestion to suspend the migration agreement with Britain, Mr Mitchell (Leader of the Opposition) declared that Air S’ullin had no right to decide .whether the States should bring migrants from Britain. Air Scullin’s action would have a serious effect on State finances. ADELAIDE, Nov 7. AFr Butler, Premier of South Australia, has telegraphed to Mr J. H. Scullin, asking him to defer the proposal to suspend migration.. Air Butler pohits out that the Commonwealth has no right to suspend the migration agreement without the authority of the States.
