BRANDY THEFT
(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) GISBORNE,. Nov. 8. Charged with the theft of a gallon of brandy valued at £3 ss, the property of the Ccok Hospital Board, George Lawrence Evans, Secretary of the Board, and Andrew Stewart Mur- \ ray, temporary House Steward, appeared before Mr Harper, S.M., today. They pleaded “not guilty.” After evidence was heard, the accused were committed for trial at the Supreme Court.
