Trainer, Holt has won this race twice previously with Eurythmic. ~ Pliar Lap was fourth early, but won the ■■Derby handsomely. The rider, dike, won this race in previous-seasons on Beragoon, Beverage and Strephon. The first..prize is valued, at £4,456. Pliar Lao was-bred in New Zealand, :nd cost 160 guineas.
