PACIFIC RELATIONS. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—-Copyright.) TOKIO, October 30. At the Pacific Relations Congress, New Zealand supported the recent trade agreement with Japan. A strong difference of opinion between Japanese and Chinese existed and ill-feeling was averted by the courtesy and good sense of both delegations and the general atmosphere of the conference. AFRICAN AGRICULTURAL CONGRESS. CAPETOWN, October 30. The Free State delegation at the Agricultural Congress moved that the Union communicate with similaar organisations in the Dominions, inviting them to a conference in South Africa in 1931 with , the object of closer cooperation on agricultural matters.
