LABOUR LEADER
BID FOR SUPPORT. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association). AUCKLAND, October 27. A strong bid for the political support of the Post and Telegraph Employees was made by the Leader cf the Labour Party, Mr H. E. Holland, at the annual re-union of the Auckland Section of the Employees’ Association last night. An assurance that the Labour, Party was Willing to' restore the “cuts” if it came inttt • power was definitely given by Mi* Holland. ‘“A happy, contented service will make for better conditions in New Zealand and will reflect itself 'in better returns to the Department,” said Mr Holland.
