STUDENTS’ SCHOLARSHIP

Professor Hunter, vice-chancellor of the New Zealand University has compiled a list of sudents awarded the post-graduate scholarship during past years which shows there are 15 in New Zealand and 27 abroad, the latter including 12 who hold travelling scholarships. ■ *“■ ■: The professor ..-opponents that their work seems to indicate the method of selection was good and the scholarships were put to sound use. A fair proportion found their way hack to New Zealand but' it is clear that if we expect -themu to return in large numbers, suitable appointments must be provided', for them.
