N.S.W. CHAMPIONSHIP. ' (Australian Press Association) SYDNEY, October 23. The professional golf championship of New South Wales is now in progress and has reached the semi-final stage. Of the sixteen competitors who qualified on the opening day. eight winners engaged in match play of 35 holes today. Tire results were:—F. Eyre heat A. Downs, 7 and 6; D. Spencer beat W.
