The ski run, Guide Alack states, was the most interesting and thrilling he has had in all his mountaineering experiences, and he was very emphatic as to the wonderful possibilities of i lie Franz Josef region for skiing and winter sports. This last run, however, owing to its altitude and length, he considers the finest in the world.
