An electric battery fell from the flap of the whip of Jcekey Brown, rider of Lint at the Toowoomba races. Baceno, ridden by Dempsej r , ran second. MELBOURNE, October. 21. The “Herald” conupgnts tiiat the Caulfield Cup was. a triumph for Trainer Holt, who lias scored i three wins in the cup in <ihe last ten years. The connections of the winner ait no time during the race were anxious as ito the outcome.
