SERIOUS FIRE
TWO TALKIE STUDIOS BURNT. (United Proas Association—By Electrio Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received this day at 11 a.m.) LONDON, October 20. A fire destroyed two talking studios, the property of British Talking Pictures Limited, erected on part of the old exhibition site at Wembley. The whole equipment was reduced to ruins. The damage is estimated* at a hundred thousand. Despite the great height of the flames, a third studio, which is not yet opened, adjoining the two destroyed buildings, was saved.
