(By Telegraph—Press Association). THE HOUSE. WELLINGTON, October 18. The House of Representatives met at 10.30 a.m. The est.mate of £4°,000 for the Discharged Soldiers’ Settlement Account is under consideration. Estimates passed were : —Discharged Soldiers’ Settlement account £40,000. Land for Settlement account, C 15,600. Westport Harbour account £45,096. When the House adjourned at one p.m. the vote of £262,802 for State Forests Account was under consideration.
