I The Local Authorities Empowering (Aviation Encouragement) Bill was reported from the Select Committee kvitli amendments. Eighteen local Bills passed yesterday by the House were read a first time and referred to Select Committees. Land Laws Amendment Bill was ■put through the final stages and passed unamended. THE HOUSE. The House of Representatives met at 2.30 p.m. Patents Designs and Trade Amendment Bill was read a second time, put through the. remaining stages and passed. Pacific Cable Sale Authorisation Bill was re.au a second time. The House rose at 10.30 p.m.
