WEST COAST RUGBY UNION.

A meeting of the executive was held at Greymouth on Tuesday evening.

4he Westland Sub-Union wrote in reference to playing the Nelson v. Coast game at Greymouth instead of Hokitika, as requested by them. Tjie leuci slated that it was the opinion of the Sub-Union that an injustice had been done them in the matter, and asked for confirmation of the fact that the Nelson Union had stated a preference for having the game played at Greymouth. The letter was received, and it was decided to take no action.

Tine Greymouth Borough Council wrote asking for particulars of gatemoney taken at the Recreation Ground, and the secretary was instructed to reply that no gates had been taken this year by the Union. The Nelson Union wrote expressing appreciation of thq treatment given to the Nelson representatives on their visit, to the Coast. A letter was received from the Westland Sub-Union asking for copies of the Dittman Shield and the Union rules. It was decided to forward the former to the Snb-Un'ion, and to advise that the Union’s rules were at present ’under (revision, but a copy ; would. be .forwarded when they were brought. up : to-date and adopted.
