DAMAGES CLAIM
A LLEGED MISREPR ESENTATION. ■,By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTON, October 16. A claim for £IO,OOO damag.es for alleged misrepresentation in connection With the sale of Craigdean farm in Mangamahu distreit, near Wanganui, commenced before Chief Justice Myers in the Supreme Court yesterday. The plaintiffs were Cecil James Harding, It. D. Harding, and W. R. ; Harding, farmers, of Mangamahu, and the defendants R. T. Tyre and H. H. Tyer, farmers, of Featherstoil, Plaintiffs allege misrepresentation was in connection with the winter carrying and fattening capacity of Graigdean, and that the land is worth less than the agreed price. The defence was a denial of the allegations. Tho case will be resumed to-day.
