WESTLAND SUB-UNION. MONDAY, OCT. 14th. The Sub-Union met at 8 p.m. Present: Messrs H. M. C'oulson (Chairman), Breeze, Williamson, Stafford, McGregor, McDonald, McManaway, Cuthush and Heenan. Apology for absence was made for Mr Dowell. The minutes were confirmed and outward correspondence approved. INWARD CORRESPONDENCE. I From West Coast Rugby Union, stating challenge for Dittman Shield was in order.—Received. From Inangahua Sub-Union asking tliat date for Dittman Shield match | ho altered to Oct. 19th.—Received. Tlie Chairman and Secretary explained their action in connection with the ' challenge. Action approved. ( The position was discussed and it was ] resolved that the season was too far advanced to play the match. It was resolved to request the Inangahua Sub-Union to hold over tlifcir challenge and that they would he given tho first right to challenge next season. j It was resolved that the season he declared closed. It was resolved to invite tenders for the supply of IS or 3G jerseys. , Tt was resolved to hold the final meeting on Oct. 31 si. to receive financial statement and deal with tenders. All C’luhs are requested to hand in j their cups at once for engraving.
