ALLEY V. NARAIJAN SINGH. INDIAN’S ARM BROKEN. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Oct. 14. There was a sensational ending to .lie professional wrestling contest at the Town Hall to-night between Tom Alley and Naraijan Singh. Alley broke the Indian’s right arm n the third round by means of a liammerlock. The Indian was taken to the hospital, where a more minute examination revealed the fact that the arm was fractured in two places between the elbow and the shoulder. The contest aroused tremendous interest, as neither man had hitherto been defeated in New Zealand. The Town Hall was packed to overflowing, and standing room was at a premium. Alley obtained a submission fall in the second round with a. standing mm.merlock, and lie won the contest with a similar hold in the succeeding round, when the Indian’s arm. was broken.
