There was a disgraceful exnibition of wrestling at the Stadium when Joe Zikmund (American) attacked Referee Bridges and threw him out of the ring. Bridges burred back and crowned the other wrestler, Jim Browning (American) whereupon Zikmund rushed the referee again but was promptly attacked by Browning who secured the strangle hold. The referee gave help, and hostilities then ceased.
The bout from the beginning was a series ol uppercuts, thumb and knuckle gouging, and nose and eai pulling. Both men were in a bad way when they left the ring.
