A DISAGREEMENT. GENEVA, October 13
After heated discussions and several adjournments, the Maritime Conference by 54 to 24 rejected the shipowners resolution, protesting because the seamen’s delegates appointed the Trade Union Congress instead of the Seamen’s Union. Thereafter shipowners delegates of all nations withdrew from the Conference.
