MOTOR COLLISION

CYCLIST SUFFERS. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, October 11. A single mam, J.’ F. Melvtn, aged 22, is in Christchurch Hospital with a fractured'right leg, and cuts on the hands and face, as the result of the collision, of his motor cycle with a motor truck on the Main South Road near Templeton this afternoon. Melvin is suffering from shock, and his general condition is reported as fairly serious. A motoi' car with a punctured tyre, was drawn up on the side of the road, and the collision occurred when the truck and Lie motor cycle both swerved to avoid it.
