(United Press Association.—By Electric Te iegrapb.—Copyright.) (Received this dnv at 10 a.m.) LONDON, October 11. Hatry and co-defendants were remanded till 14th October. Bail was refused. Abram ABibone (Town Clerk of Wakefield) gave evidence that corporation general securities were issued for Wakefield loan of threequarters of a million in. January. It was decided that fifty thousand be remitted in March and one hundred thousand at the end of August. Wakefield only received a hundred thousand. Dixon promised to remit, two hundred thousand .early in September and to invest the balance but failed.
Albert Cutterbuclc (Oity Treasurer for Gloucester) gave evidence that the corporation issued in January a half million loan on -behalf of Gloucester which received money instalments but did not pay expenses of the issue. The city by August received only a quarter of a million. Applications for registration of scrip amounted to thiee-quarters of a million. ;,V
