PIG BREEDERS.

PALMERSTON N., October 11. A meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Pig Breeders’ Association discussed the fishiness in bacon and decided to write the Meat Board, protesting against the release of the statement covering the complaint before any investigations were made. The bacon factories are to be asked for experiences with the supposed trouble. Parrett Shield for most points in pedigree Berkshire piss was allocated to Hawke’s Bay A. and P. Association. All pigs imported in the past two are to be earmarked and inspected before the end of the year, otherwise registration will not be allowed.
