As evidence; of the improved tone Messrs Leonard and Son, Auckland, have received advice from their London house authorising an increase in the consignment advances on butter to Is 5d per lb. and upon cheese to B§d. The previous rates were Is 4sd and Bjd, It was stated that indications pointed to a good market until the end of the year.
