SYDNEY WOOL SALES. (Australian Press Association) SYDNEY. October 8. At to-day’s wool sales, 10.994 bales were sold. There was good competition from French. Russian, Japanese and German buyers. Prices were on a par with the closing rates last week. Greasy merino brought 17 pence per pound.
