LEAGUE TEAM ARRIVES. By Telegraph—Per Press Association^ AUCKLAND, Qct. 8. The South Sydney Rugby League football team, which is to play three matches in Auckland, arrived to-day from Sydney by the Maunganui j .,arid was met at the wharf by members of the New Zealand Rugby League. The visitors recently won the New. South Wales Club Championship for the fifth successive year. Their first match will be at Auckland on Saturday against the Marist Club, the champion team of Auckland. . • Further matches against Auckland teams will be played on Wednesday and Saturday of next week.
