LAND SPEED RECORD. MEDAL FOR SIR HENRY SEGRAYE (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Oct. 5. In recognition of his world’s record for land speed, of over 230 miles per hour, the medal of the International Association of Recognised Automobile Clubs will be handed to Sir Henry Segrave in Paris to-morrow. Mr Stanley Hirst was elected vice-cliairman. Miss Lawrence, who is the first woman appointed to. this office, is Parliamentary secretary to the Minister for Health.
