BANK ROBBERY
£3900 TAKEN FROM A SYDNEY BANK. (Australian Press Association). SYDNEY, Oct. 7. Safe breakers cut a hole eighteen inches square in the hack of a.huge safe at the Newtown branch of the Commercial Bank of Australia Ltd., overnight, and extracted upwards of £3OOO in notes, but they ignored a large amount of silver, which was strewn about the flAor.
