Fierce fighting is raging in Afghanistan where Nadir Khan, Amanullah’s former 'supporter, has started a big autumn offensive in an effort to wrest jthe throne from Ilabidullah, the rebel king. The tribes are rallying to the support of Nadir, who is now forty-five miles from the capital. ‘ Mohammed,Anin Khan, Amariullali’s half-brother, has arrived at Peshawar, on the way to join the ex-ruler in Italy. He confirmed the attack r.nd is confident of Nadir’s triumph.
