EVERYBODYS PICTURES.

BEX BEACH STOEY TO-NIGHT

The cast of “The Mating Call,” the new Thomas Meighan picture to be released by Paramount, which is expected to rival his success in “ The Packet,” was' selected by Howard Hughes, producer of the picture, and president of The Caddo Company, with unusual tare. The story is a Rex Reach masterpiece, with deep purposeful characterisations and splendid situations, requiring acting ability of rare excellence. With the purpose in view of creating the best possible picture from this excellent story, Hughes signed Evelyn Brent and Renee Adoree to support Meighan in the two leading feminine roles. He then chose Gardner James for the juvenile part, Alan Koscoe as the “heavy,” Helen Foster, Luke Cosgrave, Cyril Chadwick, and Will R. Walling. With this cast, James Criyse, director of “Old Ironsides ”, and “ The Covered Wagon,” went to work to develop a picture to rival Meighan’s recent success, “The Racket.” The story deals with a Florida farmer, who, disappointed in love, seeks a woman to help him work his farm and finds love. It is a plot of strange twists and unusual situations. “ The Mating Call” will be shown at the Princess Theatre to-night. A topical, scenic, and comedy will also be included in to-night’s programme.

On Friday next Clara Bow in “Get Your Man.”
