McKinnon and Founjtain were charged that on .August-;loth,' ■1 , 929, at Gisborne thev did conspire with one another' to defraud Arthur Yeo, of Napier, of £l79* by means of a forged telegram. McKinnon and Hands were jointly charged with having, on August 24th, 1929, attempted to defraud Arthur Yeo, of Napier, of £l5O, by means of a false pretence, to wit, a forged telegram. Bail was allowed accused in self £IOO, and one surety of £IOO.
