LEAGUE COVENANT. A REVISION PROPOSED. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) GENEVA, September 25. The League of Nations Assembly has agreed to a British proposal, urging the necessity for the revision of the League of, Nations Covenant as the result of the general adhesion of the League members to the Kellogg Pact. It was decided to invite the League Council to formulate an amendment, and report to the next meeting of the Assembly. SUGGESTION AT GENEVA. . RUGBY, Sept. 21. The report of the League Economic Commission was adopted unanimously to-day by the League Assembly at Geneva. The report proposed that before the end of this year the Governments should notify Sir Eric Drummond Secretary-General of the League if they were willing to participate in an International Economic Conference to consider the abolition or reduction of all hindrances to" international trade such conference to be held before the end of January 1930.
