“ The indications are for northerly winds, moderate to strong, freshening and backing by west to south. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled. Rain probable, mild at first, but later the weather will probably become colder. The barometer has a falling tendency, but rising shortly. Seas rough; tides good.”
