UNPRECEDENTED MIX-UP
BROKERS LOSE HEAVILY

LONDON, Sept. 22.
There is considerable speculation as to the outcome of the investigations into the Hatry companies.
Various experts have worked all day long at Hatry’s headquarters endeavouring to ascertain the real position. Owing to the unprecedented complications caused the business, on the Stock Exchange is likely to be at a low ebb.
Many brokers will have to meet lin bilities varying from ten to twenty thousand.
The Stock Exchange Committee is holding a special meeting to consider tne whole position.

The 3tock Exchange has appointed a sub-cfflmmittee to examine tne clearing sheets of the Hatry group of companies; also the Eastern Photomaton Corporation and Wakefield Corporation. The. Committee will require brokers to supply the names of clients for whom they dealt.
