WEST COAST RUGBY UNION.
The Committee met at Greymouth last evening. The New Zealand Union wro'e asking for a list of inter-provincial matches, with results. The Secretary was instructed" to supply same. In regard to the match with Britain next- year, it was decided tj supply a report regarding hotel accommodation, to the N.Z. Union. B. Caulton, Blaketown, was <tisqualilied for the whole of next playing season, for misdemeanour towards the referee. It was decided to give Caullon the usual fourteen days for right of appeal.
It was decided to place a United junior on the caution list, and a Star junior to stand down for the next playing Saturday for rough piay.
It was resolved to write to the Canterbury Union expressing thanks for their action in sending their B team to the” Coast, pointing out that trie team’s conduct was a credit to the Union.
It was decided to write and congratulate the West Coast Ladies’ Hockey Association on wresting the Pope Shield From the Buller As.o-iat’on. An invitation was received from the Star Ladies’ Hockey Club , for the Nelson team to attend their Ball on Wednesday evening. It was decided to accept arid convey same to the Nelson manager.
It was decided .to make the Nelson team the guests:of the Union at the “Rip Van Winkle” performance. Mr W. Bring was delegated to arrange a hockey match Mawhcra v. The Rest, as a curtain raiser' to the Nel-son-Coast match.
Mr A. Winchester was appointed referee for the Nelson-Coast match. It was decided to extend to Mr F. Freitas the Union’s congratulations on being selected in the South Island team.
It was decided to close the season next Saturday with a'seven-aside tourney ,open to all senior and junior teams on the West Coast. Nominations were received from seven junior and seven senior teams last evening, it being decided that nominations close with the" Secretary,, on Thursday next.
THE NELSON TEAM
• The Nelson team to play West Coast at Victoria Park to-morrow will be as follows
Full-back—Boyce. Three-quarters—White, Wells, Snod-
grass. Five-eighths—Watson, Smith. .Hall-back—Fowler, Rover—-Newman. Hookers—E- Snow (Capt.), Max.. Lock—Bird, Supports—H. Snow, Sutton. Back rank—Stringer,. Everett. Emerg: backs—Edin and Garvin; lorwards—Young and Higgins. The visitors will arrive to-night at •8 p.m. and will be accommodated at the Albion Hotel.
Fong is unable to play for Coast and Kennedy will replace him as cen-tre-threequarter. Mason will be the emergency "back, vice Kennedy.
BANKERS’ REP MATCH

At Rugby football to-day, the Wellington Combined < Banks’ team bent he Christchurch, Combined Banks by 22—G. At half time the scores were Wellington .11, Christchurch 3. Near the end of the game, Robilliard hurt an ankle, and had to be carried off the ground.
