JERUSALEM UNSETTLED. POSITION STILL DANGEROUS. (United Press Association—By Elecv*j* Telegraph—Oopyr.ght), (Received this d«v nt 9.25 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 20. The “Mail's’’ special correspondent at Jerusalem, says, though the authorities have succeeded in restoring some semblance of order in Jerusalem, precautions are still deemed necessary to suggest confidence, that hangs on a slender hair. Curfew has been extended, but the new order re-enacts that it is still illegal for anybody to carry a weapon or even a stick. This has resulted in even walking sticks disappearing for fear of attracting attention of the police, who have the widest arrest powers warrantless. Public assemblies are still prohibited. The authorities are convinced that Bolsheviks had a big part in the disturbances. Several Communists were arrested at Haifa jin a raid yesterday, night. Bitter Jewish and Arab feeling still prevails.
