U.S.A. PLANE WRECKED. (United Press Association—By ElectricTelegraph—. Copy right). SAN FRANCISCO, Sept, 18. At Burbank (California) a second low-winged monoplane, specially built for a proposed non-stop trans-Pacific flight from Tasoma to Tokyo, was wrecked in a test flight. Lieut. Harold Bromley then announced that the trans-Pacific attempt would be off for a year.
