ON BALD HEADED MEN. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). (Received this day at 10.80. a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 18. An advertiser in a London newspaper called for twelve respectable baldheaded gentleman, who would allow him to paint type-written advertisements on their scalps. The successful applicants would he required to attend theatres and concert halls and other assemblies where heads are usually uncovered. Each would be given personal attendance to protect him from annoyance. Thirty-five replies were received, the youngest aged twenty-five. The chief lure appears to be the prospect of free entertainments. One applicant wrote : “My' wife is quite capable of protecting me, and will do so for a suitable- remuneration.”
