AFTER ASSAULTING CONSTABLE. (Australian Press, Association) (Received this day at 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 18. Bourke messages state that three prisoners made a daring escape from Yatanbulla lock-up. When Constable ltippon took the men their tea, they knocked him down and brutally assaulted him, rendering Kim unconscious. They then escaped into the bush.
