A. CHRISTCHURCH PROBLEM. CHRISTCHURCH,' September 15. By a majorityl of 34 votes to 14, the annual meeting of delegates of the Canterbury Cricket Association rescinded a motion passed at a previous special meting, providing that the district scheme of club cricket he reverted to in the season 1930-31. A special committee was set up, consisting of one delegate from each of the eight senior clubs, to bring down a scheme under the following heads: special meeting providing that the district clubs and two closed clubs; (3) four district clubs; (4) two closed arid four open clubs; (o) six open clubs; and (6) any other system. The main purpose of the district scheme and the present endeavour was to reduce the number of senior clubs.
