WOMAN KILLED

BY MOTOR CYCLE.

HAMILTON, Sept. 13

An inquest on Rose Fear, a widow, who, while cycling at Claudelands on August 14tli, collided with a motor car, with a fatal result, was held today. The efidence indicated the deceased was crossing the road towards the footpath on her right hand. A side car, driven bv George W. Career, of Cambridge, was coming the opposite direction, and swerved to go behind her. She suddenly, seeing the car, tried to swerve back to her left. She was caught, on the bonnet of the car, and was carried along some distance. . Coroner Wyvern Wilson found death was due to collision, but expressed the opinion that the driver was not to blame.

ANOTHER MOTOR VICTIM

INVERCARGILL, Sept,. 13

As the result of injuries received this afternoon in a collision between a car and a baker’s cart, which he driving, Andrew Mcßoath, a married man, was admitted to the Southland Hospital. His condition this evening was reported to be s« rious.

SUDDEN DEATH

DUNEDIN, September 13

\ Frederick William Hyder, a widower, aged 48, residing at 281, George Street, expired suddenly, shortly after lunch, to-day. An inquest was opened and evidence df identification was taken, and the inquest was then adjourned.
