GORED BY A BULL
FRIGHTFULLY MANGLED

WELLINGTON, September 14,
• Reginald Milne, of Otorohanga, died while he was being taken to Waikato Hospital, suffering from severe injuries to the stomach, chest, and legs through being gored by a bull. Milne was a single man employed on the farm ot .Urs Seibie. About ten o’clock in ilie morning, while attending cattle in a paddock, be 'was attacked by a big. pedigree Jersey bull, which caught him on its horns and tossed him in the ail. .Miss Glover, who was staying in the house, in the absence of Mr and Mrs «elbie, was horrified to see the animal with Millie impaled on its horns. Slit’ ran for a dog to drive the animal off and then telephoned for Dr Gilberd and helpers. The latter quickly arrived and the animal was driven off. it was found that Milne was frightfully mangled, though he was still breathing. Constable Fry immediately set off to take him by car to the hospital.
On April 13tli, 1924, William Eveleigh was gored by and killed by a Jersey bull on the same farm.
