SUPREME COURT
GREYMOUTH, Sept. 14. Tlie Supreme Court opened yesterday before Mr Justice Adams. A petition in bankruptcy, B. Saraty (Mr Park) v. John Drake, was adjourned till the 27th. inst., defendant being ordered to give a satisfactory security by that date, failing which the matter would be referred to the Registrar for adjudication. A decree nisi was granted Margaret Aline from William Henry Briggs, of Millerton. Frederick James Tibbies, aged 24, described as a dealer, was charged (1) That on February 27th. at Marsden, he stole one bullock valued at £7s 2s 6d the property of Samuel Stewart; (2) that on February 27th. he received the said bullocks, knowing it to have been dishonestly obtained.
