ALL SAINTS TENNIS CLUB

v ANNUAL MEETING. , The annual meeting 0 f the above Club was held in the pavilion last evening at 5.30 p.m. The Revd. NelsonWriglit presided over a good attendance of members and intending members. After the minutes of the last annual meeting had been read and confirmed, the President submitted the annual report and balance sheet which disclosed a highly satisfactory financial position, In enlarging upon the position as outlined in the report, the Revd. Nelson Wright expressed his gratification at the present state of affairs which shewed that the Club was well on its feet,, and. he made various helpful suggestions for the more effective administration of the Club and its resources. The report and balance sheet were then received and adopted. ..... .

ELECTION OF OFFICERS'. The election of officers for the coming season resulted as follows: President: Revd. Nelson Wright. - Vice-Presidents: Messrs D. J. Evans, W. E. Williams, H. M. Coulson, J. B. Ward and Hon. H. L. Michel (all reelected). Club Captain: Mr H. Osmers (re" elected). Vice-Captain: Mr J. G. Telfer (reelected). Treasurer: Mr J. B. Ward (re-elect-ed). . Secretary: Mr W. Chetwynd (reelected). ; Assistant Secretary: Miss 0. Stapleton (re-elected). Committee: Misses A. Stapleton, M. Seebeck, M. Evans and L. Evans, and Messrs Osmers, Telfer, Butland, and Preston. A lively general discussion on club matters then took place and a very keen interest was taken therein by all members. Nine new members were nominated and accepted. The opening day was fixed for Saturday. October sth, and a hearty invitation is extended to the members of all other Clubs to attend. The meeting then closed with a vote of thanks to the chair.
