TROUBLE ,AT WALLIS ISLAND. (Australian Press Association). SUVA, Sept. 9. H.AI.S. Cassiope sailed for Wallis Island on Saturday with extra coal. It is alleged here that the natives at Futuna- are very unsettled and wish the removal,of tJie'(^ssifjtant-C°mmis-sioner. The trouble, is pa'rtlv over trading. The French Consul at Suva knows nothing of v the matter. PREMIER- BRUCE. SYDNEY, September 9. A luncheon: gathering of prominent business inenjn Sydney to-day assured the Prime air. fe. M. Bruce, of their, loyalty ,and of their utmost confidence in his Government. They gave him a wonderful ovation. Air Bruce, in reply,; said that lie was prepared to face a election, if necessary, with complete confidence. He was convinced that, if given the opportunity, he could reconstruct the whole basis of Australian industrial life. !
