So much of New Zealand trade was already in British hands that an increase in trade largely depends on increased Dominion prosperity. Important steps are being taken by the motor trade with a view to securing more, of the' Dominion’s trade. •The depression at Home had led to reconditioning many factories which could not but help in improving trade.
