(Received this dav at 10.30. a.m.) LONDON Sept. 9. > “I doubt whether Italy will compete "‘y(n'\ another Schneider Cup race, as the cost is too great,” said Colonel Barnascoji- Italy’s captain pointed out that the grace’s object was to produce a speedy machine which the Schneider conditions hampered. He urged the 1 elimination of navigability tests, as they militated against speed, demanding a robustness of construction.
