The Organiser (Mr Manning) had stated if \yestland were prepared to come in, ho would endeavour to have the scope of the display enlarged so as to include Westland products not in the schedule already. There were handsome prizes also offered, while a good display of produce would be a splendid advertisement for the district and attract settlers to Westland. Mr Evans moved that a meeting be held at 2 p.m. on September 27th at the County Chambers to consider the proposal and all interested be invited to attend, including representatives of the KokataliiKoiterangi Winter Show, Farmers’ Union branches, Dairy Factory Companies, Lime Kiln Coys., Sawmilling and manufacturing interests, the local bodies and others. The motion was seconded by the President, and being approved generally was carried. ‘ The meeting rose at 8.45 p.m.
